The integrity of my blog is extremely important to me.  Any reviews will be my own and 100% honest. I only feature products I like or want to try.  The products mentioned/reviewed are purchased by me or sent to me as PR samples from makeup companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. But I do not receive any compensation to review any products. In the case that something has been given to me, I always include that it’s courtesy of that brand (c/o).  Invariably, they will be products that I think will interest my readers and always relevant to this blog.

I cannot guarantee that all of the makeup, hair and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients. Please keep in mind that everyone’s skin is different and it is possible to be allergic or sensitive to certain products. Whenever possible, please test products out before purchasing.

Occasionally, I may accept sponsored posts.  This means that I have been remunerated for featuring a product or campaign. They are most often informational, rather than opinion led articles featuring products that I think will interest my readers. These are always marked at the top with “Sponsored or” “In collaboration with…”.

The Beauty Scoop contains some affiliate links.  However, as I stated before, I only feature products I like or want to try. This means if you click through to a retailer from one of my affiliate links and purchase something, I may receive a very small percentage of the transaction. These links are added after publishing and thus do not affect which products I choose to feature in posts. That small percentage in no way dictates my editorial decisions and I frequently feature products outside of my affiliate network.
